Ágnes Kelemen, the hungarian artist presents 10 portraits of women created with mixed techniques of graphite, water-colour and acrylic. The inspiration for the 5×7 inches paintings are the family portraits of the artist’s ancestors to be found in the Laszgallner villa in Budapest (built by the artist’s great grandfather). These women of the new series are looking back to the time of our grandmothers and great grandmothers, with wild and sparkling eyes, reminding us of the binding power of a woman’s soul in the family.
